Made from bean to chocolate at our small chocolate factory based out of Jaipur, India, our vegan chef’s chocolate is excellent for baking and recipes that require even melting. These are Pre crystallized chocolate chunks which are perfect for tempering chocolate. It has a higher cacao % which makes it apt for baking, making ganaches & cremeauxs with an intense cacao hit.
Origin : Sourced from one single property in Pala, Kerala which has been with the family for over 6 generations. Initially their forefathers used to grow paddy in the watery stretch and coffee (Robusta), pepper, coconut - in the high lands. Eventually the paddy area was later on converted to sugarcane fields. Coffee was converted to a cocoa plantation consisting of both Forastero & Trinitario clones. At present the plantation consists of cocoa, rubber, pepper and a variety of fruiting trees. They follow natural farming with rotation of crops. During season time, cacao pods are collected once every two days and left for fermentation in wooden boxes for 5-6 days post which they do a cut test to check for proper fermentation and then sun dried or solar dryer dried. Then they make their way to our facility in Jaipur.

ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Every single chocolates is made fresh at our chocolate factory in Jaipur, in small batches, by hand. We make our very best effort to ensure that every order goes out within 24-72 hours during business days. Please note additional time is needed during peak holiday rush.
Our shipping days are Monday through Thursday, to avoid your chocolate being in a transit facility over the weekend. We may due to unforeseen conditions, not be able to ship out orders on certain days. This is to prevent the chocolates from melting in transit or a shipping facility that is not temperature controlled.
Shipping can take anywhere between 24-96 Hours depending on where we are shipping to. All orders are sent out with gel packs or dry ice to ensure your chocolates stay cold during transit. However despite that we cannot guarantee that your chocolate will not melt, specially during the hot summer days
